So lets say you have just received your credit report and you find something on there that is going to affect you poorly. You can report it the credit bureau and have it removed from your report.
However, if you see something on your credit report about a cancellation on your credit report you can contact the credit card company and work something out in order to get this off your record. We all make mistakes and believe it or not they are more forgiving than you might think if you just communicate with them a bit. Just bear in mind that the creditors will never go away they just want the money that they loaned you.
